Sophie Turner Has Officially Mastered French-Girl Beauty

Between letting go of the character she's played for a decade (we already miss you, Sansa Stark) and reprising her role as X-Men's Jean Grey in a brand-new solo movie of her own, Dark Phoenix, Sophie Turner is having one hell of a year. Game of Thrones may be over, but at least we have her Dark Phoenix press tour to occupy our time — and, with it, some of her best beauty looks yet, from her first stop in Paris and beyond.

Turner has already proven herself to be a pro at experimenting with makeup trends we love — and, with the help of makeup artist Georgie Eisdell, Turner is proving that all it really takes is some messy blue eyeliner or a bold, lacquered lip to level up a fresh-faced look. Who knew shedding her Stark skin (and all those red wigs) would be so transformative? Ahead, the best beauty looks from Turner's Dark Phoenix press tour.

Eisdell tells Refinery29 that she was initially inspired by Turner's outfit on their first day in Paris. "I wanted to pick up some of the color in her Louis Vuitton dress," she explains. "I am loving a monochromatic makeup look at the moment, so I took the rose and went for it."
On day two, Eisdell smudged a NARS navy liner on Turner's top and lower lash lines, proving that smoky eyes shouldn't be reserved for after the sun goes down.
Later that same day, Eisdell made a quick change to Turner's makeup, swapping out some of the moody liner for a feathery mascara.
French-girl beauty is all about keeping it simple, but with an edge. For this look, Eisdell left Turner's base minimal, but not before adding a bold berry stain to her lips.
Turner's latest au naturel look features the "no-makeup" makeup essentials: a barely-there foundation, your-lips-but-better lipstick, and feathery lashes.

Eisdell paired a minimal base with a nude gloss to put all the focus on Turner's white eyeliner look.
Turner may have returned to the U.S. for the Dark Phoenix premiere, but she didn't leave her French-girl inspiration behind. Eisdell left Turner's foundation simple and lightweight, making her smoky purple shadow the focal point of the entire look.
