Chic Pics: R29 Throws A Fun Fete For Petit Bateau’s 10th Anniversary

If you had stopped in the Petit Bateau boutique Thursday night on NYC's Upper-East-Side, we would have forgiven you for thinking you'd jetted to Paris for an episode of Gossip Girl. Everywhere you peeped, gals and dudes outfitted in the most stylish of stripes looked Left-Bank chic, sipping bubbly from Nicolas Feuillatte with pastel colored straws, or munching on equally Easter-egg hued macarons. The cool crowd was out in force to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the uber-cute, super-comfy clothing brand's US arrival, and, natch, we co-hosted the hyper-super bash along with white-hot fashion it-girl Pamela Love. There was lots of trying-on the label's buttery-soft striped clothes—we even styled ourselves (and the customers) silly for an impromptu photoshoot.
