Alexander Wang’s Carry-On Luggage Might Get Him In Trouble

For Alexander Wang, e-commerce is a huge priority for his business, with 20% of all his generated sales coming through AlexanderWang.com. In fact, WWD reports that even before he had brick-and-mortar stores, he had a website — which shouldn't be a surprise given today's add-to-cart consumer culture, but it really is in a luxury landscape that's been pretty slow to move sales online. And, now, his site is getting a new look.
So, what'll you get when you visit the shiny, new Alexander Wang e-shop? Fresh navigation that's intuitive to click through, pretty product photography (shot on white!), and the highly anticipated Objects Collection No. 4, complete with a set of gold, stackable shot glasses, a marble "junk bowl," and a set of dice. Our favorite feature might be the TSA-X-rayed bags for every sort of Wang gal, including the "Snowed-In" (packed with little, silk slippers and nips of Jim Beam) and "Tropical Getaway) (with flatform sandals and a drink umbrella). However, we're pretty sure a few of those items (namely, that bottle of Champagne and the brass-knuckle mirror set) might get you pulled out of the security line, so exercise caution when filling up your own carry-on. Click over to shop the new site!
