About a month ago, we shared the glorious news that super-star designer twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would be opening their first retail store for The Row on Melrose Place. While we heard the soon-to-be L.A. fashion fixture would be replacing John Frieda's recently vacated 3,600-square-foot space alongside neighbors Equipment and Isabel Marant, the Olsens have now confirmed that the store will open THIS spring!
“We’ve always loved architecture, furniture and art,” Ashley told Women's Wear Daily, noting that she and Mary-Kate have been very busy putting the project together and that their style will inform the store's interior.
So, not only will our favorite über-luxe brand be on singular display at a very-large store on one of the coolest streets in L.A., but the store will also be designed by the majorly talented twins? Now, this is one shop we're counting down the minutes seconds to see! (WWD)
