Okay, this cements our belief that Taylor Swift is the sweetest soul in the biz (not to mention the fact that she's steadily growing into a total style star). The adorable country crooner dressed up with gal pal Dianna Agron and a few other buddies to pay homage to Oscar-winning actress Shirley MacLaine in honor of the Hollywood legend's birthday— and then tweeted about it.
That's all good and well, but what we found truly endearing was the fact that these BFFs really went all out for the occasion. In honor of the actress' 78th birthday, the girls put on frilly frocks and floral crowns, and channeled their best inner-Shirley. But that’s not all — the duo then headed to the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge where they brunched, lounged, and ordered a cake that read “Happy Birthday Shirley."
If this isn’t the cutest gesture we’ve seen in ages, we don’t know what is — it’s kind of inspiring us to toast to someone else’s big day. Any suggestions, add 'em in the comments. 'Cause hey, any reason to dress up and down a few mimosas is a good one, right?
