What’s your favorite trend for fall?
“I have an unhealthy obsession with all things Navajo and these shorts are no exception. The texture is amazing, and they're as comfy as wearing a blanket without sacrificing style. I paired them with my favorite striped sweater—mixing unlikely prints together is fun because it expands your outfit options infinitely. The hat is a Rose Bowl find that's about three sizes too small for my head but I bought it anyways—I guess I’m in denial. I'd wear this to a music festival or picnic because it's easy and transitional.”

Natalie is wearing an A.L.C. sweater, Stone Cold Fox shorts, vintage hat, and Matisse boots.

What’s your style strategy for when our wacky SoCal weather?
“I love fall layering but seeing as how we experience about three days of fall in L.A., we have to get creative. The crop-top is great under sheer pieces, and it adds a fun twist without showing too much skin. This is an everyday look for me—comfortable, casual pieces with little details that make them feel special. These boots are my go-tos, and I wear them out at night as often as I wear them to the office.

Natalie wears Helmut Lang sweater, Elkin bra top, DIY cut-off shorts, Karen Walker sunglasses, LowLuv x Erin Wasson rings, and Ksubi boots.

What’s your favorite evening outfit for a night on the town?
“This jumper is great for a movie at the Hollywood Cemetery or an outdoor dinner where the weather can be unpredictable. It's long enough to wear on its own and the cashmere makes it super cozy. I tend to incorporate a boyish element to most of what I wear, so I added the beanie and boots.”

Natalie wears a Preen Line jumper, See by Chloe boots, vintage hat, LowLuv x Erin Wasson necklace.

What’s your top tip for dressing up a daytime outfit for night?
“The sheer maxi trend is a favorite of mine right now, mostly because of the confusion it causes when people realize that you are intentionally showing your underwear. I pretty much live in this jacket and was drawn to it at a flea market because it reminds me of my grandma—she loves color and prints. I usually throw it on over a tank and cutoffs but this is a slightly dressier look that I'd wear to a meeting or daytime event.”

Natalie wears an Elizabeth and James corset top, MINKPINK skirt, vintage cardigan, Free People romper, and Jeffrey Campbell wedges.
