More MJ News! Marc Jacobs To Open A NYC Cafe

Racked sure has been busy with their Marc Jacobs coverage, and while we're loath to give you MJ overload, this nugget was too good to resist, no pun intended. It seems that the designer, not content to rule the world of fashion , is intent on extending his addictive aesthetic to the culinary realm, with a café slated to open right here in the Big A. No word on whether the space will look anything like the crazy neon-colored confection in Milano, Jacob's first foray into food, but Robert Duffy, Marc's business partner, says the eatery would be "uptown." Jacob is all about revitalizing neighborhoods with his trendy stores, so we're open to guess re: his new project. Lincoln Center could be a good place to start. (Racked)
