Well, we certainly didn't expect any Girls deleted scenes to surface from the first season — but lo and behold, here's a little gem to tide you over until season two premieres.
Deep in the midst of her cross-city unemployment misery tour, Hannah hits up a barely disguised Little Cupcake Bakeshop in Nolita (an office fave, for anyone who was wondering) in an attempt to make the zeitgeisty world of frosted sweets her career. No dice, of course — but at least this particular rejection benefits from a little advice and a treat, "on the hizzouse." Misery loves company cupcakes. (Vulture)
