Known to old friends as Vanessa Long, the singer creates music that somehow sounds completely unique and fresh, but manages to simultaneously exude familiarity — like a favorite candy you can't resist. Living in a treehouse-like abode in Happy Valley, a hidden and primarily unknown area of Los Angeles, the West Coast songbird's already garnering quite a bit of buzz (we've even heard rumblings that she may have an Edward Sharpe collaboration in the works).
