Get Digit-al! This New L.A. Salon Will Feed That Nail-Art Addiction

candy-paint-600
What do you get when you put a jewelry designer, an ultra-chic blogger, and a former Marie Nails employee in the same room? Inevitably, one of the most colorful salons this town has ever seen — and that's saying something! In Tinseltown, decorative digits are just as common as dye jobs, but only here will you find agents crazy enough to shake hands whilst wearing glittery tips. Like an It bag or must-have set of wheels, notice-me nail art is in high demand, and we've discovered the new mecca for the mani-obsessed: Candy Paint.
Located inside the Melody Ehsani store on Fairfax, customers are encouraged to select a candy (a.k.a. the type of mani) in addition to toppings — sprinkles are not included, but Swarovski crystals and studs do make the menu! Nail wraps, courtesy of a collab with NCLA, are also available for those high-fashion folk in need of a low-maintenance mani. Between Ehsani's adventurous design aesthetic (Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Rita Ora are already fans), blogger Aureta Thomollari's crazy-keen eye for style, and Yoko Sakakura's years of Japanese nail-art experience, be prepared for lines out the door that will rival Supreme's during a seasonal sale.
