Would you hate us for admitting that we skip the interviews when we watch award-show red carpets? We just want to see the stars get their swag on without all the Ryan Seacrests of the world making any awkward comments. So, we initially missed out on this hideously uncomfortable interview between Melissa McCarthy and the typically eloquent André Leon Talley at the SAG Awards, but NYMag and Entertainment Tonight caught every cringe-inducing second for us.
What gives, ALT? Calling a lady “super-size?” Not cool. McCarthy manages to keep her cool, but we’re not sure we would have been able to do anything but freak out.
