The 13 Best Looks From Afropunk Fest

This year, Afropunk returned to Brooklyn for its tenth year — and it was better than ever. The annual free two-day fest in Commodore Barry Park hosted not just a wide variety of musical acts, but a crowd of spectators who stood out for their stellar street style. This was not a showcase of your average festival fashion — the cutoffs, crop tops, and flower crowns seen on the crowds at Coachella and Lollapalooza got a serious upgrade. Instead, there were brightly colored turbans, bold jewelry, and some seriously wild prints. Patterned dresses were a plenty, as were drop-crotch pants and denim vests. Plus, the beauty looks were on point, ranging from playful up-dos to simple, naturally styled locks. The scene was diverse, vibrant, and certainly filled to the brim with major players in the street-style game. Ahead, some of the best looks from the fest. You've never seen festival style like this.
