We've seen side boob, tummies, and pelvage. But, if last night's Wish I Was Here premiere is any indicator, there’s another body part having its red-carpet moment. Introducing: the rib cage. Specifically, the anatomical-part-du-jour seems to be the area that sits below the breastbone — and perfectly peeks from Kate Hudson’s black Michael Kors dress.

Unlike the possible oops wardrobe malfunctions that may occur when you dare to sport slits that go all the way up to your hips, the rib-cage-highlighting trend is much more user-friendly (and, well, safe). Nonetheless, it masters subtle sexiness with an unexpected flash of skin. In fact, the trend is so attractive that Hudson was just one of three actresses to test-drive it at last night's event. Her rib-twins included costar Nichole Galicia and Girls' Allison Williams.
