Tour Etsy’s Incredible DUMBO HQ

If you haven't heard of Etsy, you might be living under a rock. Imagine one million beautifully curated boutiques chock-full of vintage and handmade goods. On one single site. Searching for vintage cuff links? Check. Cheery tea towels? Oh, just look at all of the choices.
Naturally, we assumed a cyber store so unique would have an equally funky home. Are your conference rooms named Celine Dijon and Depeche à la Mode? Can you take free craft classes from screen printing to knot tying? Yeah, we're a bit green, too.
We spent a morning checking out the cool office decor (hello, bicycle built for three!) and chatting with the team, from the charming receptionist (whose desk houses a vintage typewriter and tea cup labeled "cyanide") to one of the company's very first software engineers (who hosts employee Scotch-and-jazz nights).
But, personal styles and roles aside, they all had one thing in common: a passion for worldwide community and creativity. (Oh, and they almost all happened to be wearing floral that day!) Click through for some serious office eye candy and the scoop on what to buy the next time you browse Etsy.
