Lucky for us, though, we have a brand-new Steve Carell venture to get excited about. Along with his wife Nancy, Carell will serve as writer, director, and executive producer on a new TBS comedy called Tribeca. And, he's enlisted none other than his former co-star Rashida Jones to play the lead role — okay, now we're really stoked.
Jones — who won't be returning to Parks and Recreation next season — will star as Angie Tribeca, a veteran of LAPD's Really Heinous Crimes Unit. The satirical police show, which will air this November, will also feature a group of "brilliant but eclectic" cops. With Carell at the helm and Jones on screen, there's no way we'll be missing this one! (Variety)
