Though the calendar may not agree, as far as we're concerned, it's already summer in L.A. What does that mean for our itineraries? So glad you asked. We're filling our iCals with outdoor movies, beach bashes, food festivals, and more — anything to soak up that SoCal sun.

Chloé Fall 2014 Fashion Presentation
Yes, you read that correctly. Those of us who didn't make it to the fall '14 shows in Paris this year now have a chance to attend a presentation of Chloé's fall 2014 collection — sans airfare. From printed silk dresses to dreamy, robe coats in pale pastel hues, this collection in particular showcases the Chloé persona: The prettiest tomboy in the world.

StarChefs Tasting Event
Does sampling food from Sqirl, Bestia, Gjelina, and The Hart and the Hunter all in one place sound too good to be true? Luckily, it's not: It's all happening at the StarChefs Gala and Tasting Event, taking place on June 12. The award-winning restos will join top sommeliers and bartenders for a night of eating, drinking, and being merry.

L.A. Film Festival
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the L.A. Film Festival returns this month with what appears to be its strongest lineup yet. A few of the many must-sees include Clint Eastwood's onscreen adaptation of Jersey Boys, Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen in Hossein Amini's directing debut The Two Faces of January, and Bong Joon-ho's Snowpiercer. The Addams Family at Cinespia
They're creepy, they're kooky, and they're coming to a cemetery near you — Cinespia at The Hollywood Forever Cemetery, to be exact. Grab blankets and bring you pals to this outdoor screening in the coolest of settings. Seriously, could there be a better place to watch this macabre family than a cemetery?

L.A. Weekly's Tacolandia
Tacos and tequila — need we say more? Over 40 of L.A. and Mexico's best restaurants and food trucks will be on hand at this festival downtown, complete with taco and tequila tastings, as well as live entertainment

Country: Portraits of an American Sound Exhibition
Featuring over 110 prints, the Annenberg Space for Photography's new exhibit "Country: Portraits of an American Sound" features over 110 prints, showcasing photographs of everyone from Johnny Cash to Gram Parsons to Kacey Musgraves. Go check it out, down at the end of lonely street.

Whether you attend craft fairs like it's your job or you simply can appreciate the artistry that went into that tapestry above your bed, Made In L.A. will without a doubt leave you mesmerized by the mostly unknown, local talent that exists in our own backyard. Spend a day there wandering and mesmerized and then spend the next day racking up a serious bill at the craft store.

If paddleboard races sound like a quirky, uber-current institution, think again. Turns out, the Santa Monica Pier's races date back to as early as the 1930s. Sure, you might not be wildly serious about the sport, but, it's super fun to go and watch people who are. Go ahead and get a "beach start."
