4 Under-The-Radar Beauty Brands Celebrities Always Wear

Maybe it's not the best use of our time, but we still give a fair amount of thought to researching which beauty products celebrities actually use. Take, for example, Kim Kardashian: She swears by Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow Gel. Beyoncé uses a mix of Glossier's Cloud Paint in Beam and Haze on her cheeks. Mandy Moore's go-to lip color is almost always one of Laura Mercier's Velour Extreme Matte Lipsticks.
As fans and enthusiasts, it is simply our duty to pay attention to what they like, and don't like — and take their preferences seriously. But how do we know the stuff our favorite stars really love? Short of them telling us themselves (see: the express purpose of every Kar-Jenner website), we browse the behind-the-scenes Instagram posts from their glam squads for the exclusive inside look.
Mixed in with all the best-selling products from the most popular brands in the biz, every so often you might just catch a glimpse of a brand you've never even heard of. But if the A-listers swear by it, then it's worth exploring, right? Luckily, we've tracked down four under-the-radar beauty brands celebs always wear, but you've never noticed, ahead.

The Brand: Westmore Beauty

Who Loves It: Margot Robbie

If founder McKenzie Westmore's products don't impress you yet, then take a second look at her pedigree in the business: Her family, the Westmores, is the Hollywood dynasty behind the first makeup department ever established in the movie industry in 1917. The rest, as they say, is history.

Sure, her family lineage is rad, but Westmore's current product lineup is just as good — including this waterproof body makeup. Robbie's makeup artist Pati Dubroff used a combination of the Body Coverage Perfector and Augustinus Bader moisturizer to even out Robbie's skin tone on both her arms and legs for a screening of Terminal in London.

While the cover-up is good, the eyeshadow formulas are even better: smooth, silky, and little to no fall-out. Our favorites in this palette? Bombshell, Glamorous, and Seductress.

The Brand: Danessa Myricks Beauty

Who Loves It: Janelle Monáe

Ask Monáe's makeup artist Jessica Smalls about her breakdown on the singer's look and she'll simply reply, "I don't have to do a lot." Monáe may boast a naturally angelic glow, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love playing with makeup — and when she does, a significant portion of it is from Danessa Myricks.

Bold lips are a Monáe staple. This cream lipstick palette packs 12 red and pink shades all in one.

If you couldn't keep your eyes of Monáe's rosy glow in the "PYNK" music video, then you're not alone — we couldn't either. Smalls says it's all thanks to a pink highlighter from Myricks.

With so many beauty brands finally expanding their foundation ranges, it's worth noting that Myricks has always carried an inclusive variety. What's more, this formula isn't heavy, but covers as well as a foundation and concealer all in one.

The Brand: City Beauty

Who Loves It: Elisabeth Moss

This cruelty-free company hasn't blown up just yet — but you can bet it will soon. Makeup artist Kayleen McAdams debuted one of the brand's newest lip gloss shades on the Handmaid's Tale star in April. Naturally, it didn't take all that long until we were hooked, too.

This plumping lip gloss is the second-most popular product from the brand for two reasons: First of all, it works. Secondly, it has the pretty shine of a gloss, but boasts the longevity of a liquid lipstick, too.

But the most popular product from the brand — which is already sold out after only launching last month — is this hydrating, fine-line reducing, smoothing sheet mask. We're betting now that by the time next year's Academy Awards roll around, every celeb will be prepping their skin with these.

If you've always wondered how Moss gets her porcelain skin to look so flawless, chalk it up to this lightweight lotion, which works just as well as a base for foundation as it does alone.

The Brand: ISH

Who Loves It: Rachel Bilson

Don't feel bad if you've never heard about ISH — it's still a relatively new kid on the block. After launching two years ago, Amy Nadine, founder of the brand and celebrity makeup artist, is making sure A-list clients are falling just as hard for the brand as we have. Case in point: Rachel Bilson.

Want to fake bushy brows like Bilson's real ones? Try this three-in-one arch saver that includes a tapered pencil, a powdered cushion tip infused with highlighting powder, and a handy spoolie to tame where necessary. Consider it a bonus that it's made in collaboration with The Bachelor's Lauren Bushnell.

Bilson normally keeps her base natural, but you can always expect her eyes to be smoky. Nadine is a fan of using these creamy pencils on both Bilson's upper and lower lash lines.
