Want to show off your relationship in ink — but aren't a fan of the potentially cheesy couples' tattoo? Behati Prinsloo has the perfect solution. The Namibian-born model recently commemorated her wedding to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine last summer with a quirky touch: a tattoo of three tiny dots on her left ring finger (an addition to her vintage engagement sparkler, of course).
The 25-year-old wants the tattoo to represent not only her vows to Levine, but a commitment to Mother Nature, she explained to Yahoo! Style. “It means being one with the Earth. And, I just wanted it on my ring finger, so when I take [my engagement ring] off, it’s still there!”
Who needs to show off a giant rock 24 hours a day? This just goes to show that even though Prinsloo and Levine are a model-rock star couple, their love life is surprisingly low-key (which we can't exactly say for that wild-and-crazy “Animals” video).
