With all the snow NYC's been hit with this week, it's the perfect time to take off your duck boots and strap on some skis. We got two of Roxy's pro snow team members, Olympic and X Games gold medallists, Torah Bright and Sarah Burke, to spill the deets on the best ski destinations near NY, so check out their recommendations below and get ready to hit the slopes!

Torah:
"Vermont has great mountains if you're up for taking a ride. Stowe and Stratton are two of my favorites. I go there once a year and if you get good conditions it can be pretty sweet. For a quick fix, Hunter is also a really fun mountain. It's only a couple of hours out of the city and has a pretty good terrain park. It's also a good place to check out fashion on the snow, because it's loaded with Manhattanites. Other than that definitely check out Tannersville, a small town about 10 minutes away with lots of shops, bars and restaurants—one of my favorites is Vermont Sushi."
Sarah:
"If I'm out East, I say take the trip to Vermont. Stowe, Killington and Stratton are some of the of best mountains out East and get pretty good snow fall. It's bit of a lug, but well worth it, if the conditions are good. Killington has a super fun bar called The Pickle Barrel—live music, cover bands and a really good crowd. If you're strapped for time, Hunter had a good park and fun apres scene- their main bar at the bottom of the lift is always a good time. A slightly further ride, but epic mountain, is Sugarloaf in Maine."
