If you come by the R29 office, you'll notice that our NY Editor sports a Swatch (a prezzie from Swatch) everyday. Specifically, a bright, shiny plastic model that retails for a pretty affordable $50. The Colour Codes collection, as its aptly named, features ten watches, each with a plastic strap in a solid, single color, and a case and dial in a matching hue. There's also another ten with matte surfaces, and white dials with colored numerals and indexes. The cool thing about these stand-out accessories is their durability. Despite the low price-point—we've mistakenly kept these babies on in the shower and by the beach, stepped on them during particularly rough nights out, and in one case, wrested them from the jaws of a naughty Jack Russel terrier. Plus, with shades from lemon to aquamarine, there's really no outfit you can't color-code.
