All in all, we tend to think that most people who live in Los Angeles are proud of their city — and, therefore, keen on buying L.A.-made products. The masterminds behind retail shop Weekend Lovers must have felt the same way when conceptualizing their latest project. In collaboration with L+A, the stylish store has launched WL Loves L.A., a new pop-up featuring items made in lovely Los Angeles, all of which will be available both in store and online.
The list of designers boasts a slew of standout up-and-coming Angelenos you need to add to your sartorial radars stat, including Tappan Collective, Jujumade, Kelly Lamb, Mixed Business L.A., and wrk-shp. The store will not only display a collection of lust-worthy items from brands that possess a cool, SoCal vibe, but also showcase each designer’s work with profiles released throughout the month. So, check out this rad pop-up when it opens August 24th, and don’t miss your chance to snag one or two (or three or four…) fab pieces before they sell out!
When: Starting Saturday, August 24
Where: Weekend Lovers, 351 South La Brea Avenue (between West 3rd and West 4th streets), 323-933-9032.
