Tina Brown is a beast in the best sense of the word—she's a friggin' unstoppable powerhouse and we're sort of crushing hardcore. Last night it was announced that Brown, the current EIC of The Daily Beast, reached a deal to combine Newsweek with the site, forming a juggernaut appropriately named The Newsweek Daily Beast Company. And, of course, the editrix—former EIC at Tatler, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, and Talk— will nab her sixth name above the masthead , becoming the the editor-in-chief of both titles. Brown claims the merger will allow the Daily Beast to churn out more print-worthy stories, and will enable Newsweek to have more fresh, up-to-date content. Brown, who also has CBE and enough awards to decorate all of Tiger Woods' houses, is probably sending out her change of email address letters to Graydon Carter, Anna Wintour, and Arianna Huffington—or more likely, she really doesn't give a shit.
