Rogan is always known for being on the cutting edge of sustainable fashion, and that sensibility holds true for their righteous-done-right furniture line, Rogan Obejcts. In celebration of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), which kicks-off Saturday, Rogan Gregory is introducing a new edition to the Objects, "Rogan Mobiles: Art In The Fourth Dimension," on view starting tomorrow at their Bouwerie (on Bowery) store. The show has experimental hanging mobiles inspired by Gregory's five-month old daughter, Gray, made of reclaimed southern yellow pine, piano wire, and bronze. Says Rogan,"I think she [Gray] was over the clouds, sheep, and pandas. She appreciates the conflict between the abstract notion of good and evil represented in the revolving movement of shapes and perspective." Whoa, sounds like one deep little girl. We suggest hoofing it over to see just what exactly the tiny muse inspired.
