Let me quickly make the argument that models are a great barometer for which trends have real staying power. Many are witness to the raw process designers, stylists, and editors go through to create the most fantabulous looks, so they know their stuff. Also, their job often involves booking it across town as quickly as possible, so they certainly have cred when it comes to functional garments. So, we kind of have to trust them when they say at least one version of the skinny jean isn't going extinct just yet.
