We've been totally slacking off today checking out all the amazing video editorials that new video magazine ARCADE44 has got on tap. The highlights include sampling snake blood in Xiamen, daytripping in Ibiza, and a private Rufus Wainwright concert, for a collective body of work they call "a meditation on the audacity of dope." We tend to agree, especially after peeping "Independents' Day: Thistle & Clover," a video shot at one of our fave Fort Greene boutiques, Thistle & Clover, that features Brooklyn fashionistas Sarah Seilbach of Edelweiss by Sarah, Ellen Dusen of Dusen Dusen, and Cailtin Mociun, for a frank conversation about being independent designers. Though they say it's a journey that can be "terrifying," their discussion is also pretty inspiring—together they detail the importance of community and support between one another.
