My LA: Nicole Cari

Nicole Cari has long been one of our favorite L.A. ladies. Not only is her enthusiasm for our fair city truly infectious, but as the Director of Press and Marketing for Band Of Outsiders, she is basically a living, breathing advert for Scott Sternberg's line of preppy classics infused with SoCal cool. This Silverlake resident represents the best of Los Angeles style, and whether she's dressed down for a Sunday sojourn to the Rosebowl flea market (after a mandatory morning stop at Intelligentsia), or dolled up for the Golden Globes, she's a true insider who not only lives well but also looks good, so we were overjoyed to get this lovely Los Angeleno's hit list.
Check out Nicole Cari's can't-miss spots:
1. Intelligentsia: "I'm a slave to this place. The $5 cup of coffee is a tough sell, but my body goes back for more every morning...and often in the afternoon, too."
3922 West Sunset Boulevard (at Sanborn Avenue); 323-663-6173.
2. Trails Café: "I go here for a pre- or post-hike snack in Griffith Park. There's nothing like an avocado sammy and lemonade at one of their picnic tables."
2333 Fern Dell Drive (at Western Canyon Road); 323-871-2102.
3. Rosebowl Flea Market: "Everything in my house might be from there, including 25% of my closet."
1001 Rose Bowl Drive (at North Arroyo Boulevard); 323-560-7469.
4. McCabe's Guitar Shop: "This is a very special place to see and hear music, buy instruments, and take lessons. Everyone who works there is a legend."
3101 Pico Boulevard (at 31st Street); 310-828-4497.
5. Tacos Delta: "Fish taco me any day of the week. Unreal."
3806 West Sunset Boulevard (at Hyperion Avenue); 323-664-2848.
