The dog days of summer are upon us and, for once this season, the temperatures are north of 95 degrees. But that doesn't mean you can't indulge in some of the city's coolest sweet treats at The Milk Shop. This amazing sweetie shop, which is a winner of Los Angeles Magazine's prestigious "Best of L.A. 2010" award, is home to the most delish chocolate covered bon bons and the ice cream cookie sandwiches are seriously divine. It's like the gastro equivalent of spending the day running through the sprinklers, but just a little more grown up.
