Mary Meyer Hits The Pavement With Her First Brick-And-Mortar Store

As you might have guessed, sometimes we're just lazy. Lazy when it comes to our beauty routines, lazy when it comes to our entertainment, and sometimes even lazy when it comes to our shopping. While we love to roam the city and hit up all of our favorite vintage shops, unique boutiques, and larger chains, sometimes we wish we could do it all in one stop and still get a little fresh air. Well, it's time for a little rejoicing—Mary Meyer has finally opened up her first shop in Bushwick, and it basically has everything you could ever want. The space contains (deep breath) a vintage shop from Bogart & Moore; jewelry from NIDO, Lita Rice, Costalots, and Lisa Levine; housewares from Cook & Gates; shoes from Osborn and Chelsea Crews, as well as shoes Meyer created in collaboration with Shoe Market. Meyer also continuously creates new items for her store in her studio, which is, you guessed it, in the store itself. She hopes to host music and art events in the space, as well, meaning that as soon as she puts in a martini bar and a cupcake counter, we think we'll be moving in permanently.
Mary Meyer, 56 Bogart Street (between McKibbin Street and Harrison Place); no phone.
