L.A.’s New Top Dog: Papaya King Hotdogs Go West To Hollywood

Move over Pink’s, because there’s a new top dog in town: Papaya King. According to Eater L.A., the menu is the same as the New York version of this bright and friendly fast-food depot: Classic hot dogs, sausage dogs, fries, and a variety of juicy drinks like Coconut Champagne and Banana Daiquiris—virgin, of course. Though the NYC-export has just arrived in L.A., we can only imagine the long lines that will surround this eatery on any given late night given that they’re open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. from Thursday to Sunday. We predict this will quickly become the go-to remedy for a post-clubbing, pre-hangover nosh after a long L.A. night on the town.
Papaya King, 1645 Wilcox Avenue (at Hollywood Boulevard); no phone.
