First, know this: We are just the messengers. We no more control the vagaries of fashion than we do the weather. So, it's not easy for us to say this, but it must be said. One of your most hated trends, the high-low hem, is back. Yeah, already.
It seems like only yesterday that it was 2012, and we all decided that high-low hems were suddenly ugly as sin, and only acceptable for wearing under extreme duress. (Like if you need a dress for the club, and there's only a Strawberry nearby. Or if you have to fit in at a terrible music festival.) Otherwise, they were verboten. We were all happier this way.
But lately, we've been noticing the trend creeping back into fashion, often by bundling itself with the other trend du jour: Marques Almeida-inspired, frayed-hem denim. And in most cases...we don't hate it? Okay, maybe the example up top is a little extreme for our taste.
