5 New York Favorites That Said Goodbye In 2011

Yay! Happy New Year! Looking forward to turning a page, freshening up, making some changes, and...saying some hard goodbyes? Unfortunately, that was the case some of our favorite restaurants, boutiques, and chains. A handful of staples were forced to shutter this year, and while some of them went on to be reborn in a bigger and better way, a few were forced out because — sadly — their time had come.
