Exclusive Pics: The Selby For Louis Vuitton

For the past couple of weeks, Louis Vuitton has been taking us on a trip around the world for their campaign "The Journey of a Man's Wardrobe" shot by lens-man The Selby. And didn't you just know that there's a pit-stop in the Big Apple? It's the fourth of five destinations, with the French luxury house also profiling and taking some bad-ass portraits of creative men in cities like Shanghai, Tokyo, Paris, and London, all snapped in his intimate style. For the NYC story, Maison Louis tapped actor and jewelry designer Waris Alhuwalia, hotelier André Balazs, and artist Ruben Toledo to pose in their offices and studios surrounded by some choice LV goodies. There's a covetable caramel leather "Keepall" bag stuffed with Waris's travel essentials, Ruben rocking a black Tambour watch, and André making a Taïga notebook look like a bajillion bucks. Our fave part: The Selby's signature Q&As, where he asks the boys to answer everything from the best Andy Warhol advice to staying sane in an airport. We especially like Toledo's imagined '80 Louis Vuitton guide, with a shout-out to Mudd Club and Fiorucci. Check out the pics (some exclusive to us), that will have you searching for your passport stat.
