The New York Times has been trying hard lately to be the arbiter of all things cool. Unfortunately, sometimes they are either a little too dated or heavy-handed in their proclamations, which may be the case in Sunday's article, where the Grey Lady stated that Bushwick is "arguably the coolest place on the planet." Now, we know that 'hoods on the up-and-up always make for good copy, but we think it's a wee bit of a stretch to say that Bushwick is the coolest. Sure, it's neat, and we're always down to read about places to discover and rediscover, but really? Don't take our word for it though....check it out and tell us what you think. Cool or the coolest?
