The Best Of The Barneys Warehouse Sale (P.S. It Starts Today!)

For those of us who didn't set an early alarm today to be the first to rush the doors at West 17th Street, here's the good news: It's only the first day of the Barneys New York Warehouse Sale!

Put on something comfortable — and easy to slip on and off — because this is the chance to shop major labels at discounts that are near impossible to find any other time of the year. Luckily, we got a sneak peek into the sale just yesterday afternoon to see what all the fuss was about — don't get too jealous, there was no pre-sale shopping allowed (although, obviously, we tried). Our mission was to scour the floors of Barneys Warehouse to share the most lust-after designers that you can expect to see with a big red-slashed price tag. The highlights included plenty of sandals and dresses for spring, as well as a few pieces we would be happy to buy now and wear later (Alaïa, be mine?).

Take note: this is not the average drop-in-during-your-lunch-break sale, as we also spotted sweet scores in menswear (à la Pierre Hardy and Lanvin shoes), the children's section, and home decor.
