Soho's shopping lineup is nothing short of unstoppable, and with the addition of shoe star Alejandro Ingelmo's first store in New York, set to open on Wooster Street at the end of August, our go-to shopping district will add another headliner to the list. In addition to Ingelmo's usual offering of sexy, roughed-up heels in assorted leathers and skins, this fourth-generation, CFDA-awarded shoe-maker from Cuba is also the man of choice for dudes in the know—his metallic high-tops make any outfit a perfect ten. Set to début in the store alongside Ingelmo's signature towering heels and wedges is a line of women's sneakers, as well as extra goodies like wallets, handbags, and belts. With prices ranging from $400 to $1400, the loot is for die-hard fans, but maybe Ingelmo, who told WWD that he " wanted a retail space where I could interact and learn about my customers firsthand," will create a lower-priced line for people like us.
