With the sun heating up the pavement, we're all about escaping to the seaside for some salty ocean breezes to stop that summer sweat. But, if you don't have time to book it to Jones Beach, the next best thing might be Allison Hertzberg's new jewelry line Accessories by ASH. While she works out of the East Village, Hertzberg's inspirations range a little further out than Avenue B. For the summer, she's got the Knotz collection, exhibiting the mad skills she picked up while doing a documentary on lobster fisherman in Maine. It's a fresh interpretation on the nautical rope craze, with some nostalgic elements that are updated with neon color schemes, antiqued chains, and some really rad shapes. Plus, with most of her wares available on Etsy, you know her stuff is lots cheaper (it's all under $40!) than a trip to Montauk.
