Hopefully by now you've recovered from your awesome New Year's Eve rager, and you might want to cement some plans with old pals, or perhaps all of the new friends you made that fated night. Why not start 2012 with a (loud) bang, and see some live music? Just when you thought things were all quiet on the party front, here are a slew of concerts we know you'll be stoked to take in. Pencil these dates in your new planner and start out a fresh chapter by rocking out!
M83 With lyrics softly spoken by French musician Anthony Gonzalez over blasting loud instruments, go for the experience, and stay for the trip-tastic dreams M83's ambient music will elicit.

LA SERA See mega-adorbs Katy Goodman, former bassist of Brookyln's all-girl punk band Vivian Girls, fly solo, taking her ethereal vocals to new phantasmic pop heights live on stage.

SKRILLEX Dance 'til you drop like there's no tomorrow to the sick dubstep-meets-metalcore beats of five-time Grammy-nominated Skrillex.

THEOPHILUS LONDON The buzz on this rapper hailing from Brooklyn is off the charts. From performing at the Cannes Film Festival to the Montreal International Jazz Festival, his body of work is so brill that you have to wonder what he'd be like live on stage. He has also worked alongside Solange Knowles, TV on the Radio, Tegan and Sara, and Glasser. Wow!
When: Sunday, January 22, 8 p.m.

WILCO This legendary alternative rock group is back on the road again! Did you get a chance to listen to their new album, "The Whole Love," released last September? If not, you might want to just hear them perform some of their rocking tracks live in this show.

THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS Who seriously doesn't love They Might Be Giants? Celebrating their 30th year as a pioneer solid band for one night only, you might want to hurry and score tix for this show before it sells out, folks! Be prepared to weave from side to side and wear a cheesy grin. Will they perform "Dr. Worm?" Find out! Opening for TMBG is the prince of geek folk Jonathan Coulton.
