Unless you live in a little house on a prairie, or you've spent the last decade mining minerals in Antarctica, you've likely had to deal with an annoying neighbor — or 10. In fact, it's such a universal experience, that Seth Rogen and Zac Efron starred in a whole movie about it. And, while Neighbors was definitely one of the year's primo knee-slappers, a new Instagram account captures the absurdity of this forced union better than any scripted comedy ever could.
Neighbors From Hell — which features some seriously cringe-worthy texts between two people who happen to live next to one another — boasts nearly 70,000 followers, after debuting in November.

"I’ve had several versions of my own terrible neighbors and I’ve never quite understood the reasoning behind it," the account's creator told MTV recently. "These people live next to you — how about being nice, or at least pleasant?"
The exchanges here range from relatively innocent to straight-up illicit. So, when you're hosting your NYE bash tonight, be mindful of the people sleeping next door. Or, you might just end up here yourself.
