We're gonna give it to ya straight: Before this weekend, photographer Daniel Arnold was close to broke — and slightly panicked. He had just $90 and some change to his name. So, he decided to sell some of his popular Instagram photos. And, in just one weekend, he made $15,000. Pretty amazing, right? Especially considering that Arnold was temporarily banned from Instagram in 2012 for posting a picture of breasts. Frankly, we can think of no better comeback.

We spoke with Arnold about the literal rag-to-riches weekend he had. Ahead, five of his most popular images, and the story behind the entire project.
