Kristen Wiig does not really strike us as the typical princess-dress-wearing type. We've loved her in sparkles and ruffled gowns before, but her latest look from the red carpet goes a bit more prim than we're used to seeing on her. And, we're totally into it.
At the Berlin premiere for
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, the former SNL actress sported a Martin Grant ensemble that had a strapless, diamond-printed top and puffy, full skirt in a midi-length. She polished off the look with a pointy metallic pump. However, while the outfit is completely ladylike in silhouette and style, Wiig put her own twist on it. Balancing out her ensemble's girlish charms, she kept her hair simple, straight, and slicked and opted for barely any accessories, including small Halleh studs. And, with a skirt this statement-making, why interrupt? We don't always consider ourselves the princess types either, but we definitely wouldn't mind taking a few cues from Wiig.
