If Jennifer Aniston is best known for anything, it's her famous locks. Way back when The Rachel debuted, fans started following her tresses obsessively. This writer, for one, can admit to several (unsuccessful) attempts to replicate the actress' elusive face-framing layers back in the early aughts. And, even when her career was slightly lackluster, her hair was anything but. Women everywhere have been constantly mystified by its ability to shine with the light of a thousand angels, through blowout after blowout and highlight after highlight.
So, needless to say, when word spread that the constantly long-locked actress went and got a bob, it was shocking to the point of trauma.
