Kim K. Is Surprisingly Honest About Relationships (& Being Judgmental)

kimcosmo02
Because there aren't enough Kim Kardashian covers floating around, Cosmopolitan stuck the reality star on the front of its April issue rocking big hair, high-waisted shorts, and a cropped cardigan. Shot just days before her big baby news, the accompanying interview — but, of course — focuses on all things marriage.
Kardashian's kwotes quotes were actually kwite quite interesting, seeing as she did have that whole shotgun wedding thing with Kris Humphries. (You might have heard of it?) And, even for a woman who spends her entire life in front of the camera, the responses were quite candid (she even gets a little judgmental). For instance, she reveals that when Kourtney got pregnant in 2009, she said, "You’re not married! How could you do this?’ I was really firm and strict. But she was like, ‘Marriage isn’t what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”

When it comes to Kanye, KK admits: "Sometimes you’re just not ready. A person could have it all, and you’re not ready for it all. But this is where I probably always should have been…[marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it. I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me.”
But don't forget to take your time! Miss Kim has definitely changed her tune on nuptials, rapido style: “I saw fast marriages like Khloe and Lamar’s and that was what seemed to work. [Now] I say give it a good six months before you commit. Feelings change, even if it seems so lustful.” Yes, she said six months. But, to be fair, that's like 50 years in Kardashian land, right?
