Kittens, dancing in your jammies, sun-soaked road trips, below-the-knee pleated skirts with "blouses" — these are the kinds of things you think of when you think about Taylor Swift. But forget all that for now and feast your eyes upon T.Swift's new "Sexy Style" on the cover of December's

. Tight purple glance, gold jewels, and a smize that could cut right through ya, this is the Swift that wrote our latest favorite "We Are Never (Ever Ever) Getting Back Together" and, you know, dated (dates?) a Kennedy. She writes a lyric from her new album Red on a chalkboard in her L.A. home every morning, she lists "people with green eyes," "writing notes," and "hydrangea flowers" among her favorite things, and, no, she doesn't get personal about any past relationships. So what, exactly, is behind her sultry stare? Perhaps her go-get-'em attitude when it comes to showing her true feelings, "I think a lot of times when you meet someone you feel like you need to appear like you’re not interested in them so that they’ll be more interested in you. But, what happens when you start showing him that you actually like him? What’s he gonna do then? Play the tape forward; how do you keep a guy like that? I don’t want to sign up for that." No playing hard to get here, seems she'd prefer to accidentally break hearts with that dolled-up look on the cover that hits NYC newsstands November 6.
