Thankfully, we ran into Alex, out and about in West Hollywood who taught us a thing or two about how to rock a scarf with true skill. First of all, pick a patterned style if you're wearing a relatively mellow outfit—in this case Balenciaga black pants, a Zara button-down, and an Inhabit sweater—to temper the rest of the look.
