One of our favorite styling tricks learned from Patricia Field's work on SATC was the exposed bra strap. Before then, baring your brassiere was considered oh-so-gauche, and let's face it, our lives got a little easier because Carrie looked so darn cute in darn near anything. But now that SJP's all grown up and still showing off her unmentionables, we're not sure where we stand on the look.
At yesterday's Louis Vuitton fall presentation in Paris, she stepped out in a snug white dress with an entirely sheer lace bodice, paired with a bold strapless black bra beneath. While the HBO days of yore will always remain in our hearts (and in this case, on our strap-ified shoulders), we're not sure this diaphanous 'drobe is age appropriate. SJP still gets snaps for gorgeous hair, crisp white gloves (trés chic!), and an ever bangin' bod, but what do you think about the revealing lingerie?
