Although Fashion Week is still about a month away, we've started getting show invitations in our in-box, which, at this point, is a little more stressful than exciting (we're still trying to work on our tan!). But at least we know the food is gonna be good—to out-do its Bryant Park predecessor, Lincoln Center is raising the bar with a "supper club" with special creations from celebrity chefs running from September 12-16 in the lobby of Avery Fisher Hall. Dubbed Bon Appétit Café, the brasserie will feature menu with inspiration from fashion (natch)—participating chefs will be paired with prestigious fashion designers. The experience is open to the public, so you can stop by for breakfast, with extra-good coffee and pastries from Le Bernardin's Michael Laiskonis and Christina Tosi of Momofuku Milk Bar fame. Then, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, more celeb chefs will host a grab-and-go bistro with recipes from places like The Lion, Emeril, BLT Market, and Ditch Plains. Finally, come evening (5 to 9 p.m.) an elegant wine bar with serve up small plates from Mario Batali's Otto and Daniel Bouloud's restaurants. In this case, too many cooks don't spoil the soup.
