Bowler hats, handlebar mustaches, feather boas, and saddle shoes—the lovely folks at Vans Girls and Stussy re-created a1940s speakeasy on La Brea to celebrate the launch of
Bailie shoe
. Available in July, the menswear-inspired shoe is totally femme and comes in two color combinations: A black patent with a pop of purple and brown leather with orange accents. Even the packaging is awesome and the shoebox looks like a little suffragette's suitcase and a keepsake tote. This collaboration is a celebration of the So-Cal-based Stussy's 30th anniversary, and their goal was to create an old-meets-new shoe style. "In this great future you can't forget your past," and with this Baille oxford, we think they've got it nailed. Here's to another 30!
Available July, the Bailie retails for $65 and is available at select Vans retailers and Stussy stores worldwide.
