It's fitting that last night we were celebrating Anna Dello Russo, given the fashion caliber of the ladies who came out to support the fashion icon's new role as INC's Editor at Large (a second EAL title score to compliment her Vogue Japan gig). Though ADR wasn't on hand to add her sure-to-be unforgettable outfit, Solange Knowles more than made up for any missing style inspiration, strutting down a custom-made pink carpet in an INC ensemble that only she could pull off. She color-blocked, she did the purple-and-yellow trend, she mixed patterns, she nailed pink lips—basically a September Issue was brought to life. But perhaps her stand-out accessory was son Julez, whose own sartorial prowess gives the Pitt-Jolie clan something to be scared of. The 7-year-old, who Knowles told us dresses himself, must also be reading the newest mags (or they're taking cues from him)—he rocked cuffed skinny jeans, neon laces, and an oversized henley that's definitely Details spread-worthy. Besides the mother-and-son's obvious fashion chops, we can't help but be shallow and remark on their head-turning beauty (His blue eyes! Her perfect skin!).
