See NYC’s Two Strangest Male Burlesque Stars Tonight

If you missed out on our naughty weekend guide, you still have a chance to inject a lil' nasty into the start of your drinking days. Enter the Jonny Donny show, tonight at the Bowery Poetry Club. The burlesque-type performance stars Johnny Porkpie (above, left—kinda Kid Rock meets Yanni), who bills himself as "The Burlesque Mayor of New York City," and Donny Vomit (above, right—Crispin Glover-ish, no?), "The Grand Master of the Coney Island Sideshow." They're teaming up "for one spectacular night of sex & violence," which makes sense given that Porkpie produced Novemeber's Shocks & C*cks All Nude All Dude Revue and Vomit hammers nails into various body parts. If the live dildo shows at The Box are all too much for you, we suggest skipping this new extravaganza in favor of Jonny's novel, The Corpse Wore Pasties. We swear, it's real.

The Jonny Donny Show, Thursday, January 13, 2011, 10 p.m.; Bowery Poetry Club, 308 Bowery (between Houston and Bleecker streets); 212-614-0505
Tickets, $12, available here.
