Saturday Game-Plan: Screaming Mimi's Celebrity Sidewalk Sale

Join some big names in NYC to make a big difference for children half-way around the world. This Saturday, Mr. Mickey of Paper mag is joining with Jamie Granoff and Laura Wills of the famous Screaming Mimi's to host the bi-annual Celebrity Sidewalk Sale. There's no denying it: your indulgent, vintage-loving side will want to be there to scoop up amazing finds in accessories and clothing, or, as Mr. Mickey says, "racks and racks of fashion fabulousness." However, this outdoors shop-a-thon serves a much bigger purpose than expanding your summer wardrobe choices. One hundred percent of all proceeds will be donated to buy uniforms and books for The Vivekananda School in Orissato through the organization, Citta, who builds schools and clinics in India. Pavement has rarely been so on-point.
When: Saturday, May 14, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Screaming Mimi's, 382 Lafayette Street (between Great Jones and East 4th streets); 212-677-6464.
